Soirée: Swing Dance Lesson & Nominations

There has recently been a lot of confusion and miscommunication surrounding the Swing Knights constitution and our elections process, and due to some unfortunate errors Swing Knights will be re-hosting our Spring 2016 elections. We are very sorry to all those who have been negatively affected by this situation in any way and hope we can all move forward from this in a positive manner. The specific details of the confusion will not be discussed in this public forum. However, if anyone would like more information, please let any officer know, and we will be happy to discuss this in a private setting.

We are now allowing all current members who have paid their dues for this semester to vote and run for office. These nominations will take place at the Wednesday lessons, and if the students cannot make it to the lessons, they can message or talk to any current officer to nominate themselves as well. Nominations must be turned in by FRIDAY AT MIDNIGHT.

This weeks lesson and nomination signup will take place from 9pm til 11pm in the UCF Student Union Garden Key Ballroom, room 221.

Schedule:

➢ Beginner Lesson: 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm
➢ Intermediate Lesson: 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm
➢ Nomination sign ups: All night.
