'The Shama Rahman Band are masters of "Urban Folk”. Mixing music from English, Bengali, Bulgarian and West African folk traditions, jazz and urban world beats, singer/sitarist/composer Shama weaves stories that take flight as songs.The sitar is centre-stage within a brilliant 4-piece band playing original lyrically poetic music with a whole heap of energy from her album 'Fable:Time' - an album that has garnered praise from Gilles Peterson.

***MANGOSEED***
Mangoseed are a South London-based Ska/Funk/Rock group, that deliver energetic live shows and a heavily eclectic sound. Mangoseed fuse funk guitar riffs and rock bass with a poetical hip hop lyrical delivery to create their own unique sound. Mangoseed are known for their highly energetic live shows and their eclectic sound, drawing from genres such as reggae and funk.
