Soirée: iSalonTango weekly Wednesday Tango Classes & dancing

All welcome. No need to book in advance or bring a dance partner. Couples welcomed. Door entry: £8 (or £6 for concessions) per person for whole evening. No course fees or pressure to attend every week.

iSalonTango: Weekly Wednesday evening iSalonTango's Argentine Tango classes and dancing for adults. Resident teachers Gina & Pat's friendly informal classes in Argentine Tango for those who wish to enjoy the journey in developing their Argentine Tango dancing and being part of this lovely community. Starting by 8pm each Wednesday with basic Argentine Tango (traditional, elegant steps) technique with constant reference to social dancing culture and music from the Golden Age. 8.45pm class covers moves & figures, and how they fit in with the social dance floor and music. From 9.30pm to 10.30pm (or even later if people want it), we play tango, vals, milongas from the golden age (late 30s to early 50s), in tandas for dancers to informally dance & practice.

Note, iSalonTango is part of ijig's Wednesday Class night, and therefore there is the option to take part in 2 further Dance Halls if you wish to choose to do so. Classes start up in 2016 on Wednesday 6th January. Doors open 7.45pm (first time dancers, please arrive at this time for extra support). Free on-site car park. Soft Drinks bar. Free chilled water. No need to call in advance, just turn up. We are normally on EVERY WEEK, except for a couple of weeks during Aug, and at the end of Dec. Check www.isalontango.co.uk.
