MAXI JAZZ (FAITHLESS) DJ SET

Fresh from the return of Faithless on the 20th Anniversary of the release of their eclectic first album Reverence, we are delighted to welcome Maxi Jazz to Halo on October 29th.

Maxi along with Sister Bliss and Rollo formed Faithless and were known for Dance anthems selling over 15 million albums worldwide. Maxi, a devout Buddhist fronted the band and his thoughtful and provocative lyrics were seen to be contradictory to the name “Faithless”.

Reverence was an underground sensation with 'INSOMNIA' becoming one of the biggest club anthems of the decade with the album going Gold in 22 countries. The Mercury-nominated album Sunday 8pm followed and featured the provocative hit 'GOD IS A DJ'. Platinum selling album Outrospective was next, followed by No Roots which featured the single 'MASS DESTRUCTION' which went straight in at Number 1.

After four albums and ten years, Faithless decided to celebrate with the release of FOREVER FAITHLESS - their Greatest Hits collection, reaching number 1 and selling over 1.5 million copies in the UK alone.

Now with Faithless back together the band continue to work on various projects with Maxi forming Maxi Jazz & The E-Type Boys which has played on the same bill as Faithless on the Festival circuit.
