It's a Thunderbird! It's a Plane! It's Super Weekend!
No one at UBC is ever going to tell you not to study, but if you happen to need a break on the weekend of November 6-7, the UBC Thunderbirds Super Weekend should be a pretty sweet distraction, as up to six T-Birds squads could host games on campus over the two days.
Until November 2, get your Super Weekend wristband for only $5. Purchase your ticket online, or at the box office at this upcoming weekend's games.
Among other highlights, the big weekend includes two home openers for the men's and women's basketball teams and a pair of games apiece for the men's and women's volleyball teams. In addition, the weekend could feature a pair of Canada West semi-finals in both men's soccer and football.
Another added bonus? Because nobody should miss out on any of this weekend's action, one Super Weekend ticket will provide unlimited access to a minimum of eight games for just five dollars for UBC students.
Plus, you haven't even heard about the prizes that are going to be dished out.
Upon purchasing a ticket, spectators will receive a passport that will be stamped prior to each game. Fans who collect at least four stamps will have their passports entered into a draw to win Canucks tickets courtesy of Smoke’s Poutinerie, VIP guestlist and bottle service at Venue courtesy of Blueprint, and a pair of Contact Tickets courtesy of Blueprint!
