Soirée: Great Ytene, Mothers Love + Curdle

Great Ytene (pronounced eeten) bring their live show to Glasgow fresh from the release of their debut Album 'Locus' (Out Feb 17th) on Fauxdiscx records.

Their name is taken from an ancient term for the New Forest region on England’s south coast, where Leon Diaper (guitar/vox), Lewis Baker (drums), Jorge Stride (bass) and Tom Baker (guitar) all grew up. Since their beginnings in 2013 the band have been hailed as ones to watch by the likes of the Guardian and have played shows alongside the likes of Amen Dunes and Echo Lake. Their sound has moved from the realms of psyhcedelic pop on the first EP to a harsher more Post-punk leaning sound on 'Locus'.
