Soirée: Chance to Dance Company and Friends

Dancefest’s Chance to Dance Company are joined by invited special guests Growing Older (Dis)Gracefully Dance and local Chance to Dance groups for this afternoon of performance.

Our Chance to Dance Company is for experienced dancers aged 50 and over who like to create, experiment and have a passion to perform. Their first perfomance was as part of Vista, Dancefest's site specific performance at National Trust Croome, and they've been creating new work to perform ever since.

Growing Older (Dis)Gracefully is an amateur dance group based in Liverpool who've been together for 20 years and whose ages range from 55 to 80. They've danced at Bakewell International Dance Festival, Hull Capital of Culture and Sadlers Wells.

In their performances they hope to capture the joy they have of dancing together and spread the word that everyone should have the opportunity to dance, regardless of age.
