Formed at a sit-in in Tahrir, the revolutionary local band فرقة بهيَّة - Bahiyya plays contemporary folk tunes. In the sit-in, they gathered around the songs of Sayed Darwish, Sheikh Imam, Sheikh Zakariyya Ahmad and others, and as a result, they formed the band.
Bahiyya performs songs discussing social and political matters in its distinct and contemporary style, in addition to its activist and cynical spirit for which it has long been known.
House Rules:
-Reservations are necessary.
-Reservations are held until 10.30pm.
-Couples or mixed groups.
-Minimum entry age 25.
-Violent behavior will not be tolerated.
-Illegal substances are not permitted.
-Door selection applies.
-Doors close at full capacity.
