Kensico Live at Café des Halles

Kensico is the brainchild of Montreal-based singer-songwriter Gaëlle Bellaunay whose new release represents the kismet collaboration of Bellaunay, producers & composers Daran, Mathias “Schneebi” Schneeberger, Masters Of Reality frontman Chris Goss (Queens Of The Stone Age, Mark Lanegan, UNKLE, Desert Sessions, Foo Fighters, Soulwax, Melissa Auf Der Maur) and Alain Johannes (Mark Lanegan, Queens Of The Stone Age, PJ Harvey, Desert Session, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Brody Dalle).

Surrounded by such a team and along with drummer Cully Symington (The Afghan Whigs, Okkervil River), Kensico naturally settled down at the legendary Rancho de la Luna studio, a Mecca of the latter-day rock set, in order to write some more and record Kensico’s first L.P. « White Sage ».
