PW Farrell’s music is a harmonically and rhythmically rich landscape. Featuring two keyboard players - Cleon Barraclough and Wil Sargisson, this iteration of the PW Farrell Group allows more textures to closer express the vision represented on his debut album ‘The Life Electric’ (2011). The music of Weather Report was a strong early influence and this aesthetic of emotive-texture-meets-jazz-language remains in PW Farrell’s music. With Kelsey Giarola using her voice as an instrument and Joe Marchisella providing world class rhythmic nuance, this ensemble explores the seam between post-Weather Report fusion and modern Jazz.
