For 22 years, the 18-piece Stone Frigate Big Band has been a mainstay of the Saskatchewan jazz scene. With yearly gigs at Danceland, The Bassment, and the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, the band has developed a vast and accessible repertoire that includes swing, jazz, pop, and Latin standards. Robyn Knight is the band’s featured vocalist.
