Floralorix
It represents our earthly roots, our cosmic connection and our place as storytellers, understanders and connectors in the middle.
Floralorix, roots rock reggae four piece, blossomed in the summer of 2014 when friends united together for the one love of creating music together. Their songwriting and melodic, danceable reggae music is driven by the power of positive thought. The music itself is universally influenced, full of vibrant melodies, three part harmonies and stylistically ranges from rootsy reggae to high energy rock.
The band consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Matt Daughtry, bassist and vocalist Samantha Joelle, drummer and lead vocalist Dan Twiford and keyboardist Kent Toalson. All four members of Floralorix come from different backgrounds and places, but are united by a love of music and a dream to bring people together through their music.
First meeting one another as co-bills at Nashville reggae shows and each having watered and nurtured the soil of the Nashville reggae community, the band is set to grow tall and with mighty, broad roots and the message of love and unity. These are four people of the Earth.
Reflecting on their first year as a band, Floralorix proudly shared the stage with The Wailers, headlined popular Nashville concert series Phunky Reggae Party and united with fellow local Nashville and regional reggae acts for the Jammin on Ellison Island concert series. Floralorix completed recording their first album, Bloombox, set to be released early 2016.
