Short Sleeve Sampson

Every generation has an icon that stands as a symbol for his era. For those who watched the evolution of the "mighty midgets" since it first emerged in the 1950's, they will recall the exploits of the late Sky Low Low as the best in his field. However, that top spot in the genre sat vacant for close to two decades until the torch was passed to Short Sleeve Sampson.

Originally from Warwick, Rhode Island and now making his home in Syracuse, New York, Short Sleeve Sampson started his journey in professional wrestling in 1999, training for the mat in the northeastern United States. His skills in the ring and his magnetic personality propelled him into an aggressive schedule which has included appearances in all corners of North America including multiple appearances for the WWE, TNA Impact Wrestling, Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling and more.

In fact, Short Sleeve holds the rare distinction of being one of the few wrestlers, not under contract with the WWE to be featured in a full page article in the company's "Smackdown magazine". Sampson was featured after he appeared in a rare feature match on October 25, 2005 against Pitbull Patterson, proposed to be the re-launch of the midget wrestling genre on national television.

During his career he has had the opportunity to work with and alongside some of the biggest names in the sport including Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and countless others. A testament to his place in the wrestling industry, in June 2014, Sampson was awarded with distinction by the wrestling industry at an event in Las Vegas hosted by the hardcore legend Terry Funk and legendary four Horsemen manager, J.J. Dillon.

Rob "The Giant" Araujo

One of the most popular fan favorites touring with the Midget Wrestling Warriors is the young Robbie Araujo. He began training in 2006 in the American northeast under "Brutal" Bob Evans. During his career, being towered over by the full sized wrestlers and himself standing as one of the giants of his own division, Robbie has often found himself matched against opponents of all sizes. This varied competition has helped him to become a versatile athlete between the ropes and his career has been decorated with championship success in both solo and tag team competition.

In addition to touring and making appearances across North America, Araujo has also appeared on television twice with the WWE, including a segment with WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and current Chief Operating officer Triple H -- when they were partnered as Degeneration X.

Away from the ring, Robbie has just completed his post-secondary studies in medical sciences and finds himself in a unique position of potentially putting people in the hospital in one career, and tending to their injuries in the other.

Shovelhead Chuck

A motorcycle enthusiast from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Chuck started his career after a chance encounter with a local wrestler at a live WWE event and started training in 2011. Just weeks after he started learning the ropes, he was convinced to travel to Florida to try out for Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling, featuring a full roster of athletes his size. While in Florida, his larger than life personality was apparent and he soon found himself in high demand across North America appearing in matches from coast to coast. In 2014, Shovelhead was involved in a broadcast capacity at WWE's "Extreme Rules" pay per view, alongside Midget Wrestling Warriors colleagues, Short Sleeve Sampson and Robbie Araujo.

Prince Akeem

A proud ambassador of his African heritage, Prince Akeem has been one of the true road warriors of his division over the past 13 years, appearing on tours internationally, including Canadian engagements from Quebec to remote outposts in the Northwest Territories.
Known for his devious tactics between the ropes and for his glamorous social life, rubbing elbows with entertainment's elite - including Darius Rucker (pictured), the Prince has been making life unbearable for the Midget Wrestling Warriors fan favorites.
Through his personal assistant he has sent word ahead to Minnedosa that when he appears here on May 1, he expects that the red carpet will be rolled out, and that the loyal subjects to his throne remember to bow down upon his arrival and maintain absolute silence as he imparts his royal decree.

Loco

Hailing from Mexico City, Mexico, the thug known to wrestling fans only as Loco has had a life of hard labour in the automotive and oil industries before discovering professional wrestling as an outlet for his aggression.

Tormenting fans and their favorites between the ropes is Loco's new famous pastime.

If this hooligan seems familiar to horror movie buffs, it may be because he was a feature in the 2014 chiller "Circus of the Dead", a film which cast him as the ghoulish "Jumbo".

The Bronx Thug

HAILING FROM THE MEAN STREETS! Life on the streets hardened this combatant before he ever stepped through the ropes for the first time at age 17 in 1997. Originally dubbed "Lil Killer", the Thug has terrorized opponents and fans for close to two decades. That is why we always keep the police on standby to ensure everyone's safety!
