It’s RockSoc’s EGM! For those unfamiliar, this is a meeting to elect the two positions on the committee that we need filled. So, we need YOU to get your butts involved in keeping RockSoc awesome!

Positions:

LIVE EVENTS OFFICER
Musically minded? Want us to have jam sessions? Band nights? Anything involving live music? Willing to go along to jam sessions and maybe even play in a RockSoc band? If you answered “yes” to any of those questions then run for live events officer!

SUB-HONOURS REP
Your chance to represent your cohort on the committee! If you’re fairly new to the society and you’d like to have your voice heard on the committee, run for sub-honours rep! If you’re enthusiastic about rock music and want to get involved, that’s all we need from you!

If you’re interested in running for a position, you can message us ahead of time to let us know or declare it on the night. You MUST be a member to attend the EGM, whether you’re running for a position or voting!

After we’ve elected two awesome new people, we’ll be having our regular club night. Come for the rousing speeches (and amazingly insightful and not-at-all irrelevant and inappropriate questions that follow), stay for the tunes!
