The Virginia Arts Festival: Fringe Festival Comes to the Push!


Selected Shorts is a weekly public radio show broadcast on more than 150 stations around the country. It is produced by Symphony Space and WNYC Radio and distributed by Public Radio International.
The radio show is recorded live as a popular New York City stage show that began in 1985 and still enjoys sellout audiences today at Symphony Space on Broadway and 95th Street in New York City.

Selected Shorts is one of the premiere reading series in New York City. The Selected Shorts podcast consistently ranks as one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes, with over 100,000 downloads every week.

As part of VAF Fringe, Selected Shorts is pleased to present "Uncharted Territories." Actors will perform moving, comical, and surprising stories about unexpected encounters in places both fantastical and close to home.
