If you’ve ever seen Tijuana Cartel then you’ll know just how amazing a musician Paul George is. His side project, Black Rabbit George, illustrates the virtuosity of his playing but also highlights his song-writing and vocals. It’s dark folk/country/blues that ranges from deceptively simple songs to driving beats and mesmerising tunes.
With blistering Spanish guitar, a voice conceived one tequila-fuelled night in Guadalajara, sweetly shredding fiddle and luscious harmonies, Black Rabbit George is storming onto the Australian folk/blues scene.
