New City Stars Football Club is a brand new club being launched in the Milton Keynes area. We aim to encourage 'Excellence, Fair Play, Friendship and Respect in local grass roots football.
Ricky Hazzard, our Founder and Head Coach has always aspired to introduce his own club so when the unexpected opportunity presented itself we decided to go for it!
At 25, Ricky already has an impressive background within football. As a football player, coming from the Bletchley area Ricky played for Water Eaton Youth FC, he has also spent some time at Oxford United and attended trials for England at Bisham Abbey. As a coach, Ricky has successfully completed both his Level 1 & 2 coaching qualifications and is looking to add to these by undertaking his UEFA A & B coaching licences in the future.
Due to his passion for playing the game, Ricky never expected to be a big fan of coaching but since getting involved to help a friend, it was obvious he had the enthusiasm, drive and the ability to teach the game as well as play. In just one season Ricky Managed our then U10's team who set out without any experience of real success. The team are now happy and proud to say that they are 'League Runners Up', 'MKDDL Indoor Tournament Runners Up' and they achieved quarter finals of the Cup!
Ricky gets the best out of the boys because his training sessions are full of fun at the same time as being structured. We believe it is so important that regardless of age and experience everyone enjoys learning new skills and techniques.
We have a fantastic network of people at the club, right through from the kids, to the parents, to family and helpers. Some are new joiners and some have known Ricky as the Manager for longer but all are equal. We don't like 'politics' and pride ourselves on a 'one for all and all for one' atmosphere. For those that don't have the time or the inclination to get involved then that's really no problem. Everyone makes as much or as little effort to get involved as they are comfortable with and we are happy and respect that.
Moving into the new season ahead we have both U10's and U11's boys teams. Both have spaces available so please feel free to contact us.
New City Stars also have a loyal squad of Men who currently train & play midweek. They will be entering an 11 a side team into a league at the first opportunity. As the season progresses we are aiming to cater for all age groups so watch this space or give us a call and we can update you on our progress.
We can only grow and expand with the continued help and support of Kids, Parents, Family and Friends so please spread the word.

This could be in the form of sponsorships of trophies to kits, donations of goods or services to be used by the club / used as raffle prizes to raise funds, or time and experience to help us establish a well run club.
