R-Wan developed his passion for music during his childhood in France. He grew up with R&B and funk music and all these influences have resulted in what he is now. Later on, he developed his style to a mix between R&B / hip-hop and electronic music.

Aside from being a DJ, R-Wan’s biggest dream was to become a professional pilot
and he fought to get the professional license at the same time that he was developing his DJ career. Unfortunately, he could only get the license to drive private aircrafts due to his color-blindness.

When it comes to his shows, R-Wan has performed at important events and clubs such as MTV Party (Zurich, Switzerland), Seduction Club (Phuket, Thailand), Magnum Club (Hong Kong, China), VIP Room (Paris, France) and VIP Room (Saint Tropez, France). His goal is to make people dance and enjoy music throughout the whole world and his sets are an energy-boosting mix with a lot of creativity, experience and passion.

Besides this, his first album ‘My Club’ was certified as a Golden Record and he has won multiple awards such as the International Award of Excellence at the Barbados Music Awards and reached #1 position in the Best Open Format DJ chart on The DJ List.

Now focusing on his producing career, R-Wan has started 2015 with two major
league releases on Dutch DJ duo GLOWINTHEDARK’s own label LightState Music: one in collaboration with USA’s unmistakable voice Fatman Scoop which hit #8 on
the Beatport Electro-House chart and the second release featuring hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg called ‘Turnt Up’.
