The year was 1993 and a mother and father were celebrating the birth of their first born son. The journey to becoming Stephane was a long one filled with change - and the result is still something that is no stranger to evolution.

Sourcing influence from sounds out of Detroit, Baltimore, Paris, Berlin and the UK - the fruit of his labour is an unholy mix of simple yet sharp elements. Partner this with being just 21 years of age and having supported a plethora of international acts, the future is a bright for this young artist. Stephane gained support from local bloggers Stoney Roads when he was placed on their annual compilation album "Stoney Roads Vol.2". The album gained support from many in the industry including Australian dance poster boy, Flume. Shortly after this, Stephane released ‘Plaques’ on Main Course which was met with overwhelmingly positive reception. ‘Plaques’ was posted and shared around between radio stations and blogs and gained support from artists like Modek, Sinden, Mat Zo, Bot, Jensen Interceptor, KLP, The Aston Shuffle, Amtrac, Craig Williams and A-trak, who included it in his mix for Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1. After this success, Stephane has proved illusive in his output of shows only playing a small handful during his post-breakthrough success. One thing is for certain, audiences can expect a mature-contemporary brand of music in the future.
