Lire la suite >> Hermann’s Jazz Club began 30 years ago at the Bastion Inn when Hermann Nieweler was persuaded by his friend Barry Stubbs to book Friday Harbor’s Island City Jazz Band for a weekend performance at his hotel. Hermann’s love of jazz had him establish the Dixieland Inn at the hotel. Hermann moved the club to the current View Street location in 1986 when it was renamed “Hermann’s Jazz Club”. Regulars at the club include the Tom Vickery Trio, CanUS Hot Jazz & Smooth Harmony and the Sunday late afternoon Dixieland Express. Every Thursday night the Tom Vickery Trio play host to an energetic jazz jam, which attracts some fabulous musicians from the local area and occasionally visitors from elsewhere! Hermann's Jazz Club is located at ground level and is fully accessible to wheelchairs.
