Soirée: Special Membership Meeting

This is notice to the membership of the Society that a special meeting will be held at the Edmonton Scottish Society, 3105, 101 Street SW, Edmonton, Alberta T6X 1A1 at 10 am on Saturday September 2nd, 2017.

The purpose of the meeting is to obtain membership's approval for the following special resolution related to borrowing by the Society, which approval is required by Article 9.3 of the Society Bylaws.

It is resolved that, for the purpose of carrying out its Objectives and, in particular, for the purpose of developing the Societies land and facilities to include a year round indoor soccer facility and related amenities, including but not limited to change rooms, washrooms, and a bar/lounge area, as well as for the development of a new hall to replace the existing hall and meeting rooms, the Board may borrow or raise or secure the payment of money in such manner as it thinks fit, including by the issuing of debentures.
