Soirée: Impulse orchestra and The Balkanics

IMPULSE orchestra is a 9 piece 'mini big band' that honours the great improvised music traditions of the world. The band features a 5 piece horn section reaching for the cosmic heights anchored by richly woven grooves from a rhythm section comprising guitar, bass, drums and percussion.

The Balkanics play high-energy music from the Balkans (especially Macedonia). The music is energetic, infectious and very danceable. The Balkanics include Anthony Pizzica - rezouki, tambura, Linsey Pollak - sax, gaida, clarini, Philip Griffin - electric bass, tambura, Ric Halstead - sax, flute & Tunji Beier - drums.

Doors open 6.30pm -/- 11.00pm - Band 7.30pm - 10.30pm
