Favourites with the Spanish critics, Belako are a very young band from the Basque country that with only two records has managed to create quite a stir. Winners of prizes including the Best Emerging Artist of the Independent Music Awards, the Basques debuted in 2013 with “Eurie” and since then have not stopped expanding and feeding the engines of their rock with blasts of electronic music and elements of punk and postpunk. With “Hamen”, their second album, the Vizcaya quartet reinforces their more experimental side and the electronic connection.
