So it's staying hot today alright, but there's no escaping the fact that it's pretty breezy too – so we have no option but the river for SUP Club tonight... Meeting at 6.45pm for a 7pm launch at Mill House (by the Church Road bridge, just beyond CM3 4BG – see www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z9N9RqIZx2PM.kL-b5kgjhXP8&usp=sharing) we'll paddle into the wind (which shouldn't be so strong by this evening) and stream west towards the A12 to turn before 8pm – probably at Cuton Lock for a 6km loop, possibly a little further if we make good time. And then we're thinking of the Six Bells, but just for a drink in the garden? (It's pretty unlikely we'll make it before the kitchen closes at 9pm, so don't count on dinner tonight!)
