Regatta 17 to 21 April 2014
Training Camp 13 to 16 April 2014
The dinghy racing scene in Hong Kong is going from strength to strength, as too have the resources and experience to organise world class regattas. The inaugural Hong Kong Race Week will take place in April 2014 and will follow on from an international training camp held at the same venue. The classes invited will include Optimist, Laser, 420, 470, 29er and others to be confirmed in the Notice of Race.
Over 150 dinghies are expected to take part in racing off the south of Hong Kong Island with RHKYC's recently refurbished Middle Island facility base to the competitors and race officials. This regatta will count towards selections for Hong Kong sailors to represent the Special Administrative Region at international competitions.
