New Generation Wrestling (NGW) has been exciting crowds since May 2008 with it's unique breed of wrestling talent, live entertainment and drive on truly creating a new generation of wrestlers. When we opened our doors for the very first time, we made a statement to be fresh, innovating and bold. Never resting on our laurels, we'd like to think we have done just that.
For the majority of it's life, NGW was mainly located at Eastmount Centre in East Hull, a place that many have now dubbed "the home of NGW" .Throughout the years, the fans of NGW have seen the shows evolve outside the Eastmount Centre, to the now Airco Arena (formerly Vulcan/Gemtec/Bonus/Sports arena), the famous Welly nightclub (which just reached it's historica 100th anniversary) and to venues up and down the north East of England. Everywhere we go, we strive to create an atmospheres that rival any other live entertainment company in the UK.
We at New Generation Wrestling takes pride in the fact that we have opened doors for many young talents and given them the platform to showcase their amazing talents. This has further been proven by the opening of our NGW Training Academy in Hull, ran in association with the British Wrestling Council. This allows us to not only have a perminant base to call our own, but run top quality training with world class trainer from the best of the best in British wrestling (led by our head trainers El Ligero and Nathan Cruz). We have continued this with a new weekly school in Birtley (County Durham) with former WWE contracted star Rampage Brown. Never standing still for very long, we are looking at opening even more classes and giving even more people the chance to follow their dreams,.
People who have followed us from the early days will be able to attest to how much we have come so far. We have worked hard to promote live entertainment that help raise the bar in what people expect from a live British Wrestling show. In doing so, we have been able to simultaneously increase the notoriety of our home grown talent, many now making a good incoming from wrestling all around the UK. In the end of the day, NGW is as much about the people as it is the wrestling. And we hope to welcome you to our community with our ever expanding social media presence.
