Lapwings bio:

With their new Debut-EP Frozen Time, the Berlin band Lapwings brings you delicately far from the well-travel paths of current mainstream, with its organic sound full of melancholic character.

The band is based on the duo Jeal (Vocals, Guitar) and Natasha Jaffe (Cello), joined by talented musicians who bring a remarkable singularity to the group. Lapwings forms a misty ambience with its light, smooth melodies, dynamic folk rhythms juxtaposed by melancholic lyrics. Its music is marked by elegance, repose and excitement bristling with warmth.

Beside the atmospherical cover of My My Hey Hey from Neil Young, their EP includes their first single « Love Blinkers », a fresh pop song with an organic, groovy cello melody. A real toe-tapper that pretty soon has you clapping along to the beat.
