DJ Slow와 Canblaster가 선사할 헤비한 파티 음악의 두 가지 셋을 환영할 수 있어 몹시 흥분되는 바이다.

DJ Slow (Pelican Fly / Belgium)

지난 몇 년동안 유럽에서 가장 신선한 크루들 중 하나인 벨기에의 Pelican fly 뒤에는 DJ Slow라는 Figure head, CEO, A&R, 그리고 DJ의 역할을 한 인물이 있었다. Cashemere Cat에서 Nadus까지의 다양한 음악을 발표하는 신기원적인 레이블의 뒤에서 지휘하는 것으로는 부족한 듯이 DJ Slow는 이미 전문가적인 실력을 소유한 Selector이자 Digger이다. ATL 랩과 저지 클럽의 끝이 만나는 사운드를 조합하여 만든 하우스 음악, 또한 sleazy한 테크노와 UK Grime의 거친 느낌을 하나의 완벽한 결합구조로 완성한 그의 셋을 기대해보자. 우리가 가장 사랑하는 레이블 중 하나에서 활동하는, DJ가 뽑는 DJ이자 위대한 유행제조기인 DJ Slow의 첫 방한을 케이크샵에서 할 수 있어 우리는 들뜬 기분을 감출 수가 없다.

Canblaster (Club Cheval / France)

Canblaster는 Marble 크루의 일원일 뿐만 아니라 Club Cheval의 와일드 카드다. 그는 미국부터 UK, 유럽까지의 언더그라운드 음악의 융합을 시작한 그의 파티로 인해 파리 씬에서 핵심적인 DJ와 프로듀서로 남게 되었다. 그의 헤비한 EP인 “Jetpack”, “Master of Compilation” 그리고 “Totem”을 향한 훌륭한 평가들로 인해, Club Cheval의 일원으로서의 그리고 Bromance와 Pelican fly를 통한 그의 최근 활동들은 재기의 신호탄이 되었다. 또한 그가 최근에 Brodinski, Lido와 함께한 콜라보레이션은 거대한 업적이 되었다. 우리는 케이크샵에 돌아온 Canblaster의 두 번째 라운드를 깊이 환영한다.

Behind Belgium’s Pelican fly label, one of the freshest crews out of Europe these past few years is DJ Slow who has played the role of figure head, CEO, A&R, and DJ.
As if being the mastermind behind the groundbreaking label with releases ranging from Cashemere Cat to Nadus wasn’t enough, DJ Slow is an expertly skilled selector and digger. Expect sets blending the far reaching sounds of ATL rap with Jersey club into House Music into sleazy Techno and the rawness of UK Grime into a perfect cohesive structure. A DJ’s DJ and a great tastemaker behind one of our favorite labels, we are so excited to have Slow at Cakeshop on his first visit to Korea.

Canblaster (Club Cheval / France)

Canblaster is the wild card of the Club Cheval crew as well as a member of the Marble crew. He has remained a key DJ and producer in the Parisian scene with his party starter fusion of underground music from America , the UK, and Europe. Well respected for his heavy EPs, “Jetpack”, “Master of Compilation” and “Totem”, his recent releases as part of Club Cheval and through Bromance and Pelican fly have signaled a resurgence and his recent collaborations with Brodinski and Lido have been huge. We welcome back to Cakeshop for Round 2, Canblaster!
