he third and final match of the 2014 State of Origin series was held at the QLD Maroons’ home-ground, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane. Although the series had already been decided when the NSW Blues took Game 2, you would be forgiven for thinking that you were watching the deciding match. The crowd in attendance (a sea of maroon jerseys) certainly didn’t seem to care that the series had been decided; the atmosphere was electric! The Maroons came out firing in the most free-flowing game of the series and despite the Blues incredible defence, QLD crossed the try-line 5 times to take the final match 32-8. A bittersweet series finale for both sides; the NSW Blues finally taking the Shield home and the QLD Maroons saving their pride in-front of a home crowd.

The final match of the 2015 series is set to take place at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane - after claiming their first Origin series victory since 2005, can the NSW Blues make it back to back series victories in 2015 in what is very likely to be the series decider in front of a hostile opposition crowd!?
