Soirée: Race for Kids - Charlottetown

Capital One Race for Kids™ is a return to the best adventures of childhood, embracing the carefree days of being a kid, and a bonding experience for participants as you challenge your skills while raising funds for all boys and girls to have the same opportunity.

On Saturday, May 28th, 2016 - teams of four will compete in a series of 10 themed checkpoint challenges in a race to the finish line. Checkpoints will be designed to incorporate activities that focus the mind and challenge the body.

At the finish line, there will be a celebration party and awards ceremony to commemorate completion of the race!

Capital One Race for Kids 2016 Early Registration Prize Rules:

One Team consisting of four participants will be selected from all eligible Teams for all Races by random draw to receive an Early Registration Prize.

In order to be eligible to receive this Prize, a Team must

(a) have all four (4) Team members successfully register to participate in a Race via the methods described in sections 11 to 13 above prior to March 1, 2016 at 11:59:59 pm Local Time;

(b) raise the minimum fundraising amount of $360-$500 as further detailed in Section 15(a) above prior to March 1, 2016 at 11:59:59 pm Local Time; and

(c) attend and compete in a Race with all four Team members present.

The selected Team will be eligible to receive two (2) travel vouchers from WestJet Airlines Ltd. Each travel voucher is valid for one return trip for two people, with a maximum potential retail value of $2,900. The total retail value of the Early Registration Prize is $5,800. The voucher(s) are subject to the terms placed on them by their issuer. The voucher(s) cannot be exchanged or substituted for another prize of equal or lesser value, including cash. Chances of winning the Early Registration Prize depend on the number of eligible participant Teams registered for all Races that meet the eligibility criteria described above.

The winning team will be drawn on Monday June 13, 2016 by 5:00 p.m. EST and notified thereafter.

Capital One Race for Kids 2016 Fundraising Prize Rules:

One (1) Fundraising Prize will be awarded to the participant that raises the highest fundraising total for each Race at each Local Club by 11:59:59 pm Local Time on the day preceding the Event Day for each Race. The highest fundraising participant will be eligible to receive a travel voucher or vouchers for one flight for two people from WestJet Airlines Ltd., with a retail value of $2,500. The voucher(s) are subject to the terms placed on them by their issuer. The voucher(s) cannot be exchanged or substituted for another prize of equal or lesser value, including cash. Chances of winning a Fundraising Prize depend on the number and fundraising skill of participants in each Race.
